Deb is a professional musician, singer and children's entertainer, who studied early childhood music education at the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton New Jersey. She also attended Palm Beach Junior college and Keene State College and studied voice with Nan Nall co-director of The Opera Theatre of Weston. Deb has made her living as a children’s entertainer for 15 years and taught Music Together for 11 years. "I LOVE IT!"

Deb teaches group and private guitar lessons for all ages and offers after school group guitar programs at elementary schools. Although kids are her passion and specialty, she does perform for adults!

Deb has played and sang at many local spots, parties, restaurants, clubs, weddings, funerals and memorial services, churches (including Catholic Mass), gallery openings, coffee shops, fairs, concerts, fund raisers and other special events, solo and with other musicians. Her musical repertoire includes acoustic rock, folk and pop, light blues, hymns, standards and show tunes, as well as comedic songs and rocking originals.

But her favorite thing is to make music while crawling on the floor and being silly with babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

Ali Chambliss - Hagedorn

Welcome to Ali Chambliss - NEW Teacher in Brattleboro with a total of 15 years of early childhood music education experience with 8 years teaching Music Together.  As well as a proud mom of two wonderful (musical!) children, she is an active singer/songwriter, guitarist and percussionist and has lead numerous classes, musical playgroups, and performed for children’s functions for over 10 years. She received her training at the Center for Young Children and Music in Princeton, New Jersey, and being relatively new to the area she is privileged to be a part of such a wonderful community and to share her musical enthusiasm with the youngest of our area residents.

"I believe in the process of exploration, which ultimately leads to evolution. This joyful time together with your child represents an opportunity to share in the early development of his or her natural ability to learn musical ‘language’ as easily as the many other ways we communicate. This will in turn inspire  their own unique form of musical expression, whatever form it takes".
