Happy Fall! (Ok, Ok... I promise I won’t rush it. I KNOW it is still Summer!!!) But, it is true that Autumn approaches & with it will come the transition into your fall activities. It is time to get your schedules ready...with Music Together high on the list! :-) Eventually we will see the leaves turn as MT brings us yet another great collection of music to Sing, Dance, & Play-Along to... Welcome BONGOS!  As the new session arrives, I hope you & your amazing children can join me once again in Brattleboro, or in our newest location - Wilmington. There are many classes, days & times to choose from, unlimited make-ups, Free Demo class offerings, and Open Registration, which will continue until the end of Sept. (Late registration info below) For those new to Music Together, classes run in a 10 wk session and are held in a mixed-age format (ages birth - 5 years), which allows each child to fully incorporate all the stages of musical learning in a natural ‘sibling-style’ relationship within the group. The young ones look up to (& begin to imitate!) the older ones, and they in turn LOVE to try out their ‘teacher’ skills to the younger children! For my returning families, I thank you for your continued effort in providing access to a great early childhood music experience for you and your young learner, and for the great energy you’ve brought to class each week

WILMINGTON: The Hundreth Monkey Holistic Center, (2nd floor YOGA Studio) - 17 W. Main Street

TO REGISTER:    Please choose your preferred class & Call (802) 275-7478 or MusicKidz@aol.com  immediately to reserve your space. Classes fill quickly and I will limit the class size. Late Registrations (after 9/22) will be accepted space pending, and a family can make up any missed classes. If we are well into the session, you can still join if there‘s still room in a class. You will simply be pro-rated for the remainder of classes w/out a make up option. "Drop-ins" will be welcomed only if space allows & advance notice is given...(please call first). Drop-in class $15. However, a Free Demo Class is offered ANYTIME to new families & friends who want to check out a class during a current session. :-) So, spread the news & share your joy about the MT experience! More voices - even more fun! :-)

This includes all your MT materials($40 value): two wonderful CD's (one for Home/one for Car), a beautifully illustrated Songbook with musical notation and activities to compliment your class experience, as well as a useful Parent Guide providing engaging information on your child’s musical development . You get a new Song Collection each session, so open your ears & let the musical inspiration begin!

OTHER NEWS!  re: Class closures / Make-ups. I will leave a message on (802) 275-7478 announcing any changes or cancellations by 8am the morning of a class throughout the session. (You never know...we may get an early snow!) Please call this number if you are ever in doubt about a class closure or delay. If we do cancel a class, it will simply be  added to the end of a session. NOTE: For this session, I will a run regular class schedule even during school breaks,1/2 days, ect, so, feel free to bring the older siblings to class, and we'll all have a blast together! Also, with so many class offerings throughout the week there will be ample opportunity to attend a make-up class for any reason: illness, vacations, sleep-in days, new baby, ect! So, keep the sniffles at home and feel free to choose a different day if the need arises. Please note that make-ups will only be honored in the current session be held. Any other questions...call or email me!

 Here is info Ali to sent a few weeks ago ......  Music Together of Windam County - Music and Movement classes are now accepting enrollment for another session of musical fun and development for children birth – 4 years of age, and the grown-ups who love them! Returning families and newcomers to Music Together are encouraged join anytime during the session for a Free Class to experience the joy of creating music in a relaxed, playful, non-performance oriented setting. Free 'Open Demo' classes are scheduled for the week of Sept 8^th in both the Brattleboro and Wilmington locations. Please call for more information if you would like to join the fun! In every MT class, each child will be supported in their creative musical process and be encouraged to find his or her own way to express their natural music development. A mixed age format allows for sibling-style learning alongside one another in a family friendly environment. During each 45 minute class you and your child journey through rhythmic games, chants, tonal exploration, vocal play, instrument play, large and small movement activities, as well as freestyle dancing to a wide variety of culturally diverse genre. Enjoy some exciting surprises including bubble-fun, parachute time, and special ‘jam sessions’ during each class. All classes will be taught by singer/songwriter Ali Chambliss, a dedicated and experienced early childhood music educator who has been teaching Music Together, leading musical playgroups, performing for children’s functions, and sharing her enthusiastic approach for more than 10 years.
